Mulligan Crew is a private group-golf app. This policy explains what the independent Mulligan Crew app collects, why it is used, when other golfers can see it, and the choices available to you.
Information We Collect
If you create an account, we collect the display name and email address you provide, an internal user identifier, and authentication information handled by our account provider. We do not receive your password in readable form.
When you use Mulligan Crew, the app may store:
Golf scores, putts you choose to record, hole results, and round completion status
Crew, Crew Cup Season, Trip, roster, and round participation information
Your group-agreed Crew HCP or Trip HCP playing number
Leaderboards, standings, crowns, Moments, friendly point games, social Beer results, and recaps
Trip plans, tee times, group assignments, shared notes, and optional informational Pot projections
Invite, claim, and synchronization records needed to connect devices and protect shared history
A Captain or Trip organizer may add a golfer by display name before that golfer creates an account. That unclaimed golfer spot can accumulate group history and may later be claimed by the golfer. Organizers should not enter unnecessary identifying information, especially for children under 13.
Local Storage, Device Data, and Permissions
Active and unfinished scorecards are stored locally on the scorekeeper’s device using SQLite so weak service does not stop a round. Shared results synchronize when connectivity is available. The app requests camera access only when you choose to scan a private round QR code. QR camera images are not saved or uploaded by Mulligan Crew.
Mulligan Crew does not request precise location access, does not upload profile or Crew photos, and does not use advertising trackers.
Service Providers
We use Supabase for account authentication, shared database storage, synchronization, and server functions. Course searches are sent through our server to GolfCourseAPI so the app can display course, tee, par, yardage, rating, slope, and hole information. The selected course and tee facts are saved with a started round. These providers process limited information as needed to operate their services under their own privacy and security terms.
This website is hosted through GitHub Pages. Like most web hosts, GitHub may process basic connection information such as an IP address and browser request data to deliver and protect the site. Mulligan Crew does not place advertising cookies or analytics trackers on this website.
Optional Reliability Information
Reliability sharing is off by default. If you deliberately enable it in the Me screen, the app may send an allowlisted event name, app version, and device platform. These counts do not include your name, email, scores, courses, invite codes, tokens, photos, precise location, or raw crash text. You can turn this setting off at any time.

Who Can See Shared Golf Information
Your display name and relevant golf activity may be visible to golfers participating in the same round, Crew, Season, or Trip. Captains and organizers can manage group rosters and future playing numbers. Round join codes and QR codes should be shared only with the intended group.
Mulligan Crew does not sell, rent, or trade personal information. We do not use your data for third-party targeted advertising.
Data Export and Correction
In Mulligan Crew, open Me → Privacy & account → Export my account data. The app prepares an export you can save to a private destination using the iOS share sheet. Contact support if you cannot access the app or need help correcting account information.
Account Deletion
In Mulligan Crew, open Me → Privacy & account → Request account deletion. Type DELETE MY ACCOUNT and confirm the final warning. Account access is revoked, profile information is deleted or anonymized, retained golfer labels become Deleted golfer, and the device is signed out.
Shared historical score facts may remain in anonymized form when necessary to preserve other golfers’ completed scorecards, Season standings, Trip recaps, and record integrity. Deleting one account does not delete another golfer’s Crew or Trip history. We may retain limited records when required for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, or dispute resolution.
Data Security and Retention
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, including encrypted network connections and platform-secure token storage. No online service can guarantee absolute security. We retain information while your account is active and as needed to operate shared history, fulfill requests, meet legal obligations, and protect the service.
Children’s Privacy
Mulligan Crew is not intended for children under 13. Organizers should not create golfer spots containing identifying information for children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal information, contact us so we can investigate and remove it where appropriate.
Changes and Contact
We may update this policy as the product or legal requirements change. The effective date above will be revised when material changes are published.
These Terms govern your use of Mulligan Crew. The app is built for recreational group golf, shared scorekeeping, friendly competition, and the history your group chooses to keep.
The Service
Mulligan Crew lets golfers score rounds, follow shared play, organize Crews and Trips, run Crew Cup Seasons and optional Trip Championships, record Moments and friendly point games, and create shareable recap images. Features may change as the service improves.
Accounts and Group-Managed Golfers
You are responsible for your account credentials and activity. Provide accurate information, keep your access secure, and notify us if you suspect unauthorized use.
A Captain or organizer may create an unclaimed golfer spot using a display name and group-agreed playing number. Do not impersonate another person or claim a golfer spot that is not yours. Group administrators are responsible for using reasonable names and obtaining any permission needed to manage another golfer’s shared group history.
Scores, Crew HCP, and Course Information
Scores and results depend on information entered by golfers and scorekeepers. Review the card before completing a round. Mulligan Crew does not certify scores or guarantee that user-entered information is correct.
Crew HCP and Trip HCP are private, group-agreed extra-stroke numbers used only inside Mulligan Crew. They are not a Handicap Index, an official World Handicap System calculation, or a score-posting service.
Course and tee information is provided for convenience through a third-party data provider and may change. Verify current tees, scorecard details, course conditions, local rules, and starting arrangements with the golf facility. Mulligan Crew does not currently provide GPS yardages or shot tracking.
Friendly Competition, Beer, and Optional Pots
Long Drive, Closest to the Pin, Hole Bet, Season, and Trip features use non-purchasable in-app points or standings. They never change the golf score. Beer is a non-financial social record only. Mulligan Crew does not collect entry fees, accept deposits, offer odds, transfer funds, track who paid, enforce debts, or settle wagers.
Optional Season and Trip Pot values are private, informational payout projections. The group is solely responsible for any lawful arrangement outside the app. Pot values do not establish that anyone paid or owes money.
User Content and Conduct
You retain ownership of names, notes, scores, and other content you enter. You grant Mulligan Crew a limited license to store, process, display, and synchronize that content only as needed to operate the service and its shared group features.
Do not use Mulligan Crew to create or share content that is unlawful, abusive, threatening, discriminatory, deceptive, infringing, or harmful. We may remove content or restrict access when necessary to protect users, the service, or legal rights. Report inappropriate Crew names, golfer names, or shared notes to support.
Availability and Changes
Golf courses often have weak connectivity. The scorekeeper’s local card is designed to continue through interruptions, while live following and shared updates require connectivity. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, instant synchronization, or error-free operation.
We may maintain, change, suspend, or discontinue features. Material changes to these Terms will be posted with a revised effective date.
Account Deletion and Termination
You can initiate account deletion in the Me screen or contact support. We may suspend or terminate access for misuse, security risk, legal requirements, or material violations of these Terms. Shared historical golf facts may remain anonymized where needed to preserve other golfers’ completed records.
Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
Mulligan Crew is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the fullest extent permitted by law. We disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We are not responsible for inaccurate user-entered scores, course-data errors, service interruptions, lost connectivity, group disputes, or decisions made from informational standings or Pot projections.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Mulligan Crew and its operator will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the service.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oregon, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts located in Oregon will have jurisdiction where the law permits.
For account, scoring, Crew, Season, Trip, or synchronization help, email us. Include the app version and a plain description of what happened, but never send your password, private access token, or an active scannable join code.
Round Saved on This Phone
If a completed round is waiting to submit, reconnect the scorekeeper’s phone to Wi-Fi or cellular service, open Mulligan Crew, and use the retry action on Home. Keep the app installed until the saved round confirms that it has been submitted.
Joining a Live Round
Use the Join action on Home and scan the scorekeeper’s QR code or enter the private join code. Live following needs an internet connection. A golfer can still be scored by the scorekeeper without downloading the app.
Taking Over Scoring
Open Join code & round devices from the live scoring screen, request the transfer, and have the current scorekeeper approve it. Wait for both phones to confirm the new scorekeeper before continuing.
Account Export or Deletion
Open Me → Privacy & account. From there you can export your account data or start account deletion. Contact support if you cannot access the app.
Report Inappropriate Content
Email support with the Crew or Trip name and a description of the issue. We may request additional context to identify the relevant private group content.
